Has been shown to improve the elasticity and strength of the skin Contains oleic, palmitic, stearic, and linoleic fatty acids which are naturally occurring in the skin and are imperative for healthy functioning of the moisture barrier Contains vitamins A and E

Glyceryl Stearate

Glyceryl stearate is an emulsifier and conditioning agent. We use it to prevent water loss from the skin and maintain the structure of our formulas for optimal active ingredient delivery. Our glyceryl stearate is derived from plant sources.

Potassium Sorbate

Potassium sorbate is a mild preservative that's used in both skincare and food. It's been shown to be safe and effective at concentration up to 10%. It is present in our formulas at a maximum concentration of 0.08%.

Sodium Benzoate

Sodium benzoate is an anti-fungal ingredient that we use at concentrations below 0.01% to maintain the efficacy and stability of our formulas. It's been used for decades in both food and skincare.

Xanthan Gum

Xanthan gum is used to suspend actives in our formulas and maintain the structure of the product. We naturally derive it from the Xanthomonas campestris bacteria through biofermentation.

Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour

The oats found in our skincare are identical to the oats you'd eat at breakfast, except they've been ground into a very fine powder. Oats have been shown to help the skin in the following ways: Restoring moisture to the skin Reducing the visible signs of irritation and inflammation Helping to restore optimal pH levels Helping to balance the natural skin microbiome

Carbomer

Carbomer is a large polymer of acrylic acid that helps to maintain the structure of formulas. It is considered safe and effective in both cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.
